Unsigned Senior Spotlight: Brenden Seren, Lake Central HS

Today's Unsigned Senior Spotlight is on Lake Central SS/RHP Brenden Seren.  Seren is an athletic 6-foot, 190 pound senior that participated in the Top Prospect Games this past June at Indiana University.

The No. 43 ranked Seren was 82 mph across the diamond from SS.  He displayed above average actions defensively with soft hands and fielded it cleanly.  His exchange is quick and clean, and has the ability to throw from different arm angles.  

At the plate Seren starts narrow and uses a high leg kick.  There's a lot of quick twitch in his swing along with present bat speed.  His exit velocity was 92 mph off the tee.  

On the mound he's still raw mechanically, but shows a quick, short arm action that should produce an increase in velocity this coming spring.  At the Top Prospect Games he was 84-85 mph with his fastball and 64-68 mph with the breaking ball.
