Unsigned Senior Spotlight: Bryce Aldrige, Bloomington North HS

Bryce AldridgeToday’s Unsigned Senior Spotlight is on Bloomington North HS catcher, Bryce Aldridge.  The No. 46 ranked Aldridge was a participant in June’s Top Prospect Games at I.U where he had an event best pop time of 2.03. 

The 6-foot-3, 210 pound unsigned senior possesses plus footwork behind the plate and is 78 mph from the crouch position.  We’ve seen Aldridge as high as a 1.97 with his pop time, and sit consistently between 1.97-2.04.  He shows athletic actions and receives well. 

At the plate he consistently makes hard contact.  He has a very aggressive approach with a big load.  His hands are quick, and displays some projectable strength.  

Last season for Bloomington North, Aldridge helped lead the Cougars to a Sectional Championship and a Regional Runner-Up finish.  He finished the season hitting .350 with 6 2B, 2 HR, and 21 RBI.
