Unsigned Senior Spotlight: LHP Myc Witty, Lawrence North HS

Lawrence North unsigned Senior left-handed pitcher Myc Witty is a 5-foot-10, 150 pound southpaw with a slender, athletic build and tons of pitchability.  He pitches from a low 3/4 slot with a quick, loose arm.  He shows easy effort with smooth rhythm within his delivery. Witty has good direction to the plate and lands square with an athletic finish.  

At the Hoosier Holiday Showcase on Sunday, December 7th he showcased a fastball up to 83 mph that jumps on hitters. The fastball consistently sat 81-83 with heavy action and consistently in the zone. His curveball sits 67-68 mph with late break and consistently thrown for a strike.  His changeup is thrown with fastball arm speed and sits 64-65 with some sink.  

Last spring at Lawrence North Witty finished the year with a 3-1 record and one save in 42 innings pitched. He finished the season with 41 strikeouts and a 1.30 ERA.
