2015 OUTLOOK:
The Mustangs look to climb the AVCTL-I standings after a 9-11 (4-6 in league play) season a year ago. Athletic sophomore RHP/SS Andrew Stratman gained valuable experience as a freshman as a starting pitcher and in the line-up playing several different positions. This season the Central coaching staff is looking for Stratman to emerge as the everyday shortstop and No. 1 pitcher. Senior All-League performer Sam Mermis will, once again, man second base and hit lead-off. He will see mound time and also slide over to shortstop when Stratman pitches. Senior 1B Nick Shaffer earned AVCTL-I 2nd team honors last spring and will, once again be counted on to produce in the middle of Central's line-up.
