X-FACTOR
Nolan Williams. The very athletic 6-foot-1, 185-pound switch-hitting shortstop is the No. 1 ranked prospect in the Kansas class of 2017. Last spring he hit .466 with six doubles, five triples and six home runs and was named KABC 5A All-State 1st Team shortstop.

2015 OUTLOOK:
The Golden Bears have a marque player in sophomore SS Nolan Williams and a No. 1 starting pitcher in RHP Corey Cowan. In addition, Turner has an experienced senior class that includes Cowan, OF Tony Kline, OF William Renne, OF Nick Ray, 1B Alex Hendrix and utility player Ryan Sport. Juniors C Luke Moise and RHP Trevor King also will factor into the equation as they look to advance in the competitive Kaw Valley League standings.
