Season Outlook
The 2016 Marion Warriors returns six starters from last season, which was extremely younand inexperienced.  They finished 8-2 last year, after getting off to a 6-6 start.  This group is still relatively young, but finished strong last year and look to build on the second half of the season.  Peyton Heidebrecht, hit .377 with 17 RBI, four doubles and a home run last year and is looking to anchor the line for the Warriors this season.  Dylan Pippin was 3-3 on the mound and finished with a 3.23 ERA in 43.1 innings pitched a year ago.  He will be at the top of the rotation this spring, a rotation that will feature a group of young arms fighting for innings each week.  Cole Srajer and Crobin Wheeler played well in the middle infield last season as freshman.  The duo gained experience last season that will be important for the Warriors moving into the 2016 season.  The Warriors look to take the momentum the built in the second half the 2015 season and start strong in 2016.
