preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

Season Outlook
The Marion Warriors return six position players and three pitcher from a team that went 13-7 and second place finish in the Heart of America Conference last season.  Marion will be helped by return of senior LHP/OF Seth Savage.  Savage has been sidelined that last two season with injuries and an added lefty arm on the mound and hitter in the line up will play a positive factor in the teams success. The Warriors will look to have another big season out of junior SS Corbin Wheeler and will look to junior UTL Cole Srajer as a spark plug, playing a variety of positions.  Marion also has five players returning with All-HOA post season honors.  A pair of senior All-Conference players will patrol the outfield in Mason Pederson and Jacob Vondenkamp while senior pitcher Nathan Baldwin will lead the staff and Peyton Heidebrecht returns at 3B.  The Warriors will look to take the next step in 2017 and advance in the State Playoffs.
