Prep Baseball Report Kansas has announced the addition of Rob Fleeup to its staff as Kansas City area scouting director.  Fleeup will be covering the spring high school season as well as various events, games and tournaments throughout the year in the Kansas City area.

Fleeup will be filing scouting reports on players as well as writing features on games and events he attends.

In addition, Fleeup will be a key contributor to our player rankings as well as selecting players for Prep Baseball Report invite-only events including PBR mega-events such as the Midwest Futures Games powered by Under Armour in Indianapolis, Indiana this August and the Super 60 Professional Showcase this February in Chicago.

Fleeup is no stranger to amateur baseball in the Kansas City area.  He brings over 15 years coaching experience at the youth, high school and college levels.  In addition, he coaches Building Champions Rawlings Prospects teams in the summer and fall.

This past fall in his role as head coach of the Kansas City Royals Senior Scout Team and assistant for the Royals Elite Scout Team he gained valuable experience identifying and reporting on the top players in the Kansas City area.

Fleeup begins his work with Prep Baseball Report immediately and will be attending this weekend’s KC Barnstormers Top 100 Showcase in St. Joseph, Missouri.
