Here is a look at scores and highlights from around the state last evening.

#1 Tates Creek 3, East Jessamine 2
Luke Rouse went 2-for-3, and Jaren Shelby and Kendrick Cruise each added RBI doubles as Tates Creek escaped with a one-run victory.  Matt Neal and Marshall Gant combined to allow just 3 hits with 6 strikeouts.  Jarred Jones struck out 7 in his 6 innings of work for East Jessamine.

#4 Mercer County 5, #2 Paul Laurence Dunbar 4
Alex Gooch went 2-for-3 and scored twice, and Logan Horn, Russell Sims, and Tommy Craig each doubled as Mercer County held off a late rally by Dunbar for the one-run victory.  Tanner Robins tossed 6 innings, allowing 6 hits and 1 earned run to pick up the win.

#25 Central Hardin 3, #5 West Jessamine 2
Britton Elmore went 2-for-3, and Spencer Lucas worked 5 innings, allowing 4 hits and 2 earned runs with 6 K’s to pick up the win.  Troy Riggs worked the final 2 innings to earn the save.  West Jessamine’s Tucker Greer went 3-for-4 with a double in the loss.

#6 Eastern 1, Anderson County 0
Lucus Moses went 3-for-3, and Chase Mitchell fired a complete game, 2-hit shutout with 7 strikeouts as Eastern won in a pitcher’s duel.  Brandon Eliadis allowed 0 earned runs in 6.1 innings in taking the loss.

#15 Collins 9, Forest Park IN 0
Dre Farris and Will McDonald each collected 3 hits, and EJ Burk went 2-for-2 with 3 RBI.  Collins pitcher Paul Miller followed up Zac Wiley’s no-hitter on Thursday with one of his own, striking out 9 in going the distance for the win.

#16 Lafayette 5, Harlan County 0
Johnny Fangmeyer went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI, and Jalen Stith struck out 8 over 4 scoreless innings to pick up the win for Lafayette.

#17 Danville 11, Marion Co 0

#18 Bullitt East 3, #8 Ballard 2
Jacob Bowles doubled, and Tyler Krauth worked 6 strong innings, allowing 1 run with 6 strikeouts to pick up the win.  Ricky West doubled twice and struck out 6 in 3 innings of work on the mound for Ballard.

#20 Paducah Tilghman 4, Marshall County 3
Jeremiah White and Nick Shumaker each went 2-for-3 with a RBI, and Matt Moore worked 6.2 strong innings in the one-run win.

#21 Dixie Heights 5, DuPont Manual 2
Nick King went 2-for-2 with 2 doubles and a RBI, Henry Kerns went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 runs, and Chris Ruedebusch added 2 hits in the Colonels win.  Winning pitcher Mitch Anderson scattered 5 hits in going the distance.

#22 Male 5, #24 South Oldham 2

North Laurel 3, #23 South Laurel 1

Fairdale 1, John Hardin 0
Brandon Roberts went 2-for-4 and drove in the game’s only run, and Dakota Collie added 2 hits in the Fairdale victory.  Nolan Cook threw a complete game, 4-hitter with 5 K’s for the win.

Taylor County 10, Caverna 0
Chance Moran went 2-for-2 with a RBI, and Jack Miller and John Wood each drove in 2 runs in the win.  Winning pitcher Colin Watson fired a 5-inning no-hitter with 5 strikeouts.

Franklin County 5, Somerset 3
Quenton Brownlee went 3-for-3 with a triple and scored 3 runs, Dawson Willis went 2-for-3 with a double and 3 RBI, and Ryan Staples added 2 hits in the Franklin County victory.  Isaac Dotson picked up the win, allowing 6 hits and 2 earned runs in the complete game effort.

Woodford County 11, Frankfort 0
Travis Bingham went 3-for-4 with a HR and RBI, Eli Boggess added 3 hits, and Colin Enlow went 2-for-2 with 2 RBI in the Woodford County win.  Starting pitcher Matt Eldridge worked 5.1 innings, allowing 4 hits and 1 earned run with 5 strikeouts.

Wayne County 2, Rockcastle County 1
Trey Blevins pitched a complete game 4-hitter, allowing just 1 unearned run in picking up the win.

Mason County 15, Newport 0
Michael Sutton went 3-for-3 with a HR and 5 RBI, and Lukas Greenhill went 3-for-3 with 3 RBI as the Mason County rout.  Darren Williams pitched the 5-inning complete game, allowing just 2 hits and striking out 11.

Lincoln County 6, Russell County 5
Austin Greer homered, and Taylor Edwards drove in 2 runs for Lincoln County.  Greer picked up the win, striking out 5 in 3 scoreless innings of work.

Montgomery County 6, Boyd County 5 (8 Innings)
Chaiten Tomlin went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, Spencer Tabor went 2-for-3 with a RBI, and Tyler Thomas doubled and drove in 2 runs in the one-run win.  Tabor allowed 3 earned runs in 7.2 innings of work.

Christian County 2, Hopkinsville 1 (8 Innings)
Nile Shemwell went 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, and Dixon Craft went 4-for-4 to lead the Christian County offense.  Craft worked all 8 innings, allowing just 4 hits with 11 K’s to pick up the win.

Graves County 2, Logan County 1
Justin Hayden doubled home a run, and Clayton Carrico allowed 2 hits and 1 earned run with 8 strikeouts to pick up the win.  Eamon Hannan pitched the final 2 innings with 4 K’s to earn the save.

Corbin 9, Jackson County 1
Taylor Combs went 3-for-4 with a double and RBI, and Andrew Jones went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI to lead Corbin to the win.  Connor Hicks allowed 4 hits and 0 earned runs over 6 innings of work to earn the win.

Scott 10, Campbell County 3
Reed Spata went 2-for-3 and scored 2 runs, Cameron Kinney went 2-for-2 with 2 RBI, and Nick Brinkman allowed 2 hits and 3 earned runs in throwing just 66 pitches for the complete game win.

Somerset 3, Henry Clay 2
Cody Carrender drove in 2 runs, and Logan Combs struck out 5 and allowed 1 earned run in throwing a complete game for the win.

Daviess County 10, Apollo 7
Nelson Dant went 3-for-3 with a triple, RBI, and scored 4 runs, Andrew Hayden added 2 hits, and Jed Arend doubled and drove in 2 runs in the Daviess County win.  Stewart Currie allowed 5 hits and 2 earned runs in 6.2 innings with 6 K’s for the win.
