Wayne County senior OF Tanner Bell got off to a hot start last week in helping the Cardinals to a 2-1 record.

The left-handed hitter went 8-for-11 with two triples, one home run, seven RBI, and nine runs scored. Bell also walked twice, meaning he reached base safely in 10 of his 13 trips to the plate for the week. A Kentucky Wesleyan signee, Bell is picking up where he left off last season in leading the Cardinals offensive attack.

For his performance on the field, Tanner Bell has been selected as the PBR Kentucky Player of the Week for March 23-28.
