The Rowan County Vikings are 16-6 this spring, and unsigned senior RHP Seth Johnson has played a key role in their success.

Last week, Johnson fired two complete games in leading Rowan County to a 4-1 week. On Monday, he took the mound against Bath County and allowed five hits and two earned runs while recording seven strikeouts in a 5-3 victory. He took the ball again on Saturday against Montgomery County and allowed just three hits in a complete game shutout (4-0 win).

With the two victories, Johnson improved to 4-0 with one save on the season. In 36 innings of work, he has a 2.69 ERA with 28 strikeouts.

For his outstanding performance on the field, Rowan County 2016 RHP Seth Johnson has been selected the PBR Kentucky Pitcher of the Week for April 18-23.
