Mason Stamm, 1B/OF, L/L, Danville HS, 2015

At 6-foot-2, 190-pounds, the left-handed hitting Stamm has the size to handle the first base position and the athleticism to play a corner outfield spot, making him a versatile player at the next level.

At the Unsigned Senior Games Event on August 16, Stamm put his all-around game on display.  In batting practice, he showed good pull-side power.  His swing is easy and loose, and he has room to add to his frame, giving reason to believe he has the potential to develop into a consistent power left-handed bat beyond high school.  Stamm posted a 4.48-second home to first base time and recorded one of the top exit velocities of the event at 91 mph.  He went 2-for-4 in game play with two solid singles to right field.

Defensively, Stamm showed his athleticism at first base with 83 mph arm strength across the infield, and in the process, showed he has the arm strength that will play in the outfield as well.  He will bring the 11 doubles and six home runs he hit last spring back to the middle of the Danville lineup in 2015.
