Updated and Expanded Class of 2015 Player Rankings

It’s been since mid-summer since we last updated the Class of 2015 player rankings meaning it’s that time again.  Since the last update we have seen some players improve their stock by making strides in their game, while others showcased their abilities to the PBR Kentucky staff for the first time, and based on their performance, find themselves as new additions to the rankings.

The rankings have been expanded and now include the top 200 players in the 2015 class.  The top three in the rankings remains unchanged, but here are a few items of note:

Logan County RHP Caleb Bruner continues his ascension up the rankings and finds himself at No. 4.  Bruner, a Western Kentucky commit, had a dominant summer and has shown a recent gain in velocity topping out at 89 mph.  We love his ability to throw effectively from different arm slots with both his fastball and breaking ball, something that makes for uncomfortable plate appearances for opposing hitters.

Bourbon County RHP Kaven Brown makes a splash into the top ten at No. 6.  The 6-foot-4 Western Kentucky commit showed a big jump in velocity at the Area Code tryouts in Indianapolis where his fastball topped at 89 mph.

Here is a look at the top ten.
