Class Of 2015 Rankings Update

As the 2015 spring season is set to wrap up, Prep Baseball Report Louisiana updated its class of 2015 player rankings. Let’s take a look at who saw jumps in the rankings and who cracks the list for the first time.

Right-handed pitcher and Louisiana-Lafayette signee, Nick Lee/South Beauregard HS, held on to the number one slot, but left-hander and Mississippi State signee, Kale Breaux/Sulphur HS, jumped from number three to number two.

Outfielder from Franklinton HS, Josh Magee, jumped from number 20 all the way to number nine as he has had an outstanding spring that is creating loads of buzz around the state and region.

Infielder Kolton Kendrick is another newbie to the top 10 as his big power potential has garnered significant interest from Major League baseball clubs. As power hitting in all levels of baseball is in decline, Kendrick possess significant power from the left-side, and many suggest even elite level power when it comes to this June’s draft.

Right-handed pitcher from Airline HS, Andrew Lowe, soars all the way to number 17 as he continues to strike out hitters with a power fastball, while maintaining command. As of last week he had a strikeout to walk ratio of 56 to 3.

Other new members to the list are: C Dustin Duhon/Sam Houston HS, RHP Hunter Roig/Mandeville HS, RHP Evan Jordan/Denham Springs HS, LHP Grant Cox/St. Thomas More HS, C Hunter Feduccia/Barbe HS, and LHP Derek Boutin/Acadiana HS.
