Future Games Spotlight: C Clint Hargrave

The annual PBR Future Games is fast-approaching; as the country’s top uncommitted underclassmen will descend upon Grand Park in Indianapolis, IN August 2nd through August 5th. 

It’s the seventh edition of the prestigious event, and it has become the premier event in the country for recruiters and underclass prospects alike. The Future Games started with just four teams, but will have 20 this year, with 400 players coming from the states in PBR’s comprehensive coverage area.

Players receive exposure unlike any other event for underclassmen. Last year, more than 150 colleges from all over the country were in attendance, including coaches from every Division I power conference in the nation.

Scouting Report

Strong 6-foot, 17-pound catcher frame, durable, athletic build. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, and quick, clean exchanges. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 76 mph from the crouch and a pop time of 1.97-seconds. Right-handed hitter that hits from athletic setup, smooth load, leg kick and quality lower half. Gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, slightly uphill path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 82 mph. Also posted a 7.70-second 60-yard dash.
