Centenary recruit, 2017 IF/RHP Christopher Haggard (Sam Houston) has been named this week’s Prep Baseball Report Louisiana Player of the Week thanks to his outstanding performance at the plate, and on the mound last week.

Haggard went 5-for-9 during the week of play with 1 home run, 5 RBI, 1 double, 1 triple, as well as tossing 6.1 innings, picking up a victory, and striking out 11.

For his efforts, Haggard has been named the Prep Baseball Report Louisiana Player of the Week for the week of April 26 – May 3.
