PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process?
Enlow: I was expecting for it to be a long drawn out process and my initial thought were that I would make a decision during the summer of 2016. With my fastball reaching the 90’s this summer the recruiting process sped up and ended fairly quickly with my commitment to LSU.

PBR: Did location or distance from home play a factor in your decision?
Enlow: It played somewhat of a factor, as I wanted my parents to be able to attend as many games as possible without having to take an airplane each time. The main factor was which University was I going to fall in love with the most.

PBR: Where did the college you chose first see you?
Enlow: They saw me play with Gauthier & Amedee American Legion team at the 19u Marucci tournament in New Orleans at Bayou Signet Park.

PBR: How did your relationship develop with them?
Enlow: My relationship developed with them through my coaches, who would let them know which days that I would be pitching. I also made several phone calls to them and expressed an interest upon their offering to make an unofficial visit to campus. I stayed in contact with the coaches on a frequent basis throughout the process.

PBR: Who is the best player you have faced in your state, and why?
Enlow: Brennan Breaud from Destrehan High School, He fought off pitches and forced me deep into counts until he finally got pitches to hit. He was my hardest out all season.

PBR: At what point in your career did you realize you were an elite player and became serious about taking your game to the next level?
Enlow: Once I made my high school team my freshman year it gave me the confidence to believe that I was an elite player and that it was time to move my game to the next level.

PBR:What were you looking for out of a college program to continue your baseball career at?
Enlow: I was looking for a consistent program with historical success with a great coaching staff. I have always wanted the opportunity to play in Omaha.

PBR: What is your best attribute as a baseball player and how does that transfer onto the field for your team?
Enlow: My best attribute is my arm strength. It helps me on the mound to get a lot of outs without the ball being put into play.

What part of your game needs the biggest improvement, why, and what will you do to improve it?
Enlow: My change-up needs to improve. I need to develop better command and movement of this pitch. I plan to implement throwing the change up in my long toss program this fall to help improve it.

PBR: What advice would you give to young baseball players striving to get where you are?
Enlow: To work hard to get better every chance you get. Also, try your best each and every time and never take the game for granted.

PBR: What do you do in the offseason to keep yourself in baseball shape and prepare for the upcoming season?
Enlow: A lot of core workouts and band work along with long toss and flat grounds.

PBR: What do you like most about the college you committed to and what were the key factors in making your decision?
Enlow: How successful they have been over the past 30 years. The key factors were a great coaching staff, awesome state of the art facilities along with a rich history of baseball success.

PBR: What other schools were on your short list before you made your final decision?
Enlow: Tulane and Southern Mississippi.
