On Sunday, October 18, more than 25 unsigned 2016 graduates from across the state of Louisiana participated in the Prep Baseball Report Unsigned Senior Showcase at Louisiana Baseball and Softball Academy in Harahan, LA.

Today, Prep Baseball Report Louisiana takes a look at the outfielders that were in attendance.

Top Outfielders

+Dean Alexander, OF, Thomas Jefferson HS(2016)
A 5-foot-11, 170-pound outfielder with an average, athletic frame. Solid defender with average hands, fluid footwork, clean exchange, and plays through balls well. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 85 mph. Left-handed hitter that hits from a balanced setup, smooth load, leg kick, explosive lower half and solid balance. Pull hitter with a slightly long path and quality bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 86 mph. Also posted a 4.5 home to 1st time.

+ Reed Bolten, OF, St. Thomas Aquinas HS(2016)
A 6-foot-1, 175-pound outfielder with a lean, athletic frame. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, clean exchange and plays through balls well. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws and a positional velocity of 81 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced setup, no load, short stride and solid lower half. Line-drive type hitter with stiff rhythm and an in and out path, and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 80 mph. Also posted a 4.25 home to 1st time.

+ Daniel Charbonnet, OF, Pearl River HS(2016)
A 5-foot-11, 175-pound outfielder with an average, athletic frame. Solid defender with average hands, clean exchange into loose arm action with high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 86 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced setup with no load, short stride, solid lower half and balance. Line-drive type hitter with fluid rhythm, short path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 84 mph. Also posted a 4.7 home to 1st time.

+ Tyler Miller, OF, Lafayette HS(2016)
A 5-foot-6, 160-pound outfielder with a small, athletic frame. Fast twitch athlete that posted a 4.2 home to 1st time. Solid defender with average hands and a clean exchange. Long arm action into a high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 79 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from an athletic setup with a smooth load, leg kick, solid lower half and quality balance. Gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, easy and repeatable stroke that creates quality extension and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 81 mph.
