On Sunday, October 18, more than 25 unsigned 2016 graduates from across the state of Louisiana participated in the Prep Baseball Report Unsigned Senior Showcase at Louisiana Baseball and Softball Academy in Harahan, LA.

Today, Prep Baseball Report Louisiana takes a look at the pitchers that were in attendance.

Top Pitchers

1. Connor Maginnis, RHP, Jesuit HS(2016)
A 6-foot, 183-pound right-handed pitcher with an athletic, strong frame. Loose arm action into high-3/4 release with lightning quick arm and some effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction and lands square. Fastball sat 88-90 mph with heavy sink and command. Breaking ball showed 10/4 shape, sharp break and tight spin at 70-73 mph. Also showed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 73-75 mph.

2. Mike Romano, RHP, Mandeville HS(2016)
A 5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed pitcher with a medium, athletic frame. Loose arm action into a high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm with level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 81-83 mph touching 85 with slight sink and was commanded well. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with sharp break, tight spin, solid depth and near fastball arm speed at 72-74 mph. Flashed a changeup with fastball arm speed and hard fade action at 74-76 mph.

3. Jeff Crenshaw, LHP, Salmen HS(2016)
A 6-foot-1, 170-pound left-handed pitcher with a lean, athletic frame. Long arm action into a ¾ release with average arm speed, easy effort and solid balance. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction and lands square. Fastball sat 80-82 mph with slight run and command. Breaking ball showed 1/7 shape with early break, near fastball arm speed, and command at 64-66 mph. Also displayed a change up with near fastball arm speed, fade action and command at 73-74 mph.

4. Chase Fals, LHP, Pearl River HS(2016)
A 6-foot-4, 200-pound left-handed pitcher with a long, lanky frame. Long arm action into ¾ release with quick arm speed and whip, some effort and solid balance. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and falls off. Fastball sat 83-84 mph with slight sink and control. Breaking ball showed 2/8 shape with gradual break and near fastball arm speed at 71-73 mph. Also showed a solid changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 74-75 mph.

5. Dean Alexander, LHP, Thomas Jefferson HS(2016)
A 5-foot-11, 170-pound left-handed pitcher and outfielder with an average, athletic frame. Long, stiff arm action into a high-3/4 release with solid arm speed and regular effort. Some rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes upright. Fastball sat 81-82 mph with slight run and command. Breaking ball showed 2/8 shape with gradual break and near fastball arm speed at 65-68 mph and was thrown for strikes. Also showed a changeup with near fastball arm speed at 73-74 mph.

+ Will Allen, RHP, Thomas Jefferson HS(2016)
A 5-foot-11, 180-pound right-handed pitcher with an athletic, projectable frame. Loose arm action into ¾ release with a quick arm and some effort. Some rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands closed and finishes upright. Fastball sat 81-83 mph with late sink and command. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with gradual break and near fastball arm speed at 69-70 mph. Showed a change up with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 76-77 mph.

+ Daniel Charbonnet, RHP, Pearl River HS(2016)
A 5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed pitcher with an average, athletic frame. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with average arm speed, regular effort and solid balance. Some rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes upright. Fastball sat 78-80 mph and showed solid control. Breaking ball showed 12/6 shape with gradual break and near fastball arm speed at 67-68 mph. Also showed a change up with near fastball arm speed at 71-72 mph and command.

+ Ferguson Cochran, RHP, St. Louis Catholic HS(2016)
A 6-foot-2, 185-pound right-handed pitcher with a lanky, athletic frame. Loose arm action into high-3/4 release, regular effort and average arm speed. Some rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, and lands closed. Fastball sat 77-79 mph with slight sink and solid angle. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with gradual break and near fastball arm speed at 70-72 mph. Also displayed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 70-72 mph.

+ Andrew Hughes, LHP, St. Thomas More HS(2016)
A 6-foot-5, 190-pound left-hander with a lanky, long frame. Long arm action with a stab into high-3/4 release, average arm speed and effort. Some rhythm, uphill shoulders, in-line direction and lands square. Fastball sat 74-76 mph with slight sink and control. Breaking ball showed 1/7 shape, gradual break and near fastball arm speed at 64-67 mph. Also showed a change up with near fastball arm speed and slight fade action at 61-62 mph.

+ Brad Randazzo, RHP, Destrehan HS(2016)
A 5-foot-11, 155-pound right-handed pitcher with an average, athletic frame. Loose arm action into a high-3/4 release with solid balance, some effort and average arm speed. Solid rhythm with level shoulders, in-line direction, lands closed and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 78-79 mph with slight cut. Breaking ball showed 10/4 shape with gradual break and near fastball arm speed at 68-70 mph. Showed a change up with fastball arm speed and fade action at 75-76 mph.

+Jacob Snyder, LHP, John Ehret HS(2016)
A 6-foot-4, 180-pound left-handed pitcher with a lanky, athletic frame. Long arm action with a stab into a high-3/4 release with average arm speed and solid balance. Smooth rhythm, uphill shoulders, in-line direction, lands closed and falls off. Fastball sat 79-81 mph with solid angle and control. Breaking ball showed 1/7 shape with early break and near fastball arm speed at 66-67 mph. Also displayed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 63-65 mph.

+ Hunter Stanley, RHP, St. Thomas Aquinas HS(2016)
A 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed pitcher with a lean, athletic frame. Right-handed pitcher with a long arm action into high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Some rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and falls off. Fastball sat 80-83 mph with slight cut and control. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape, power action and near fastball arm speed at 70-72 mph. Showed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 72-74 mph.

A 5-foot-10, 150-pound left-handed pitcher with a medium, athletic frame. Loose arm action into a high-3/4 release with easy effort and solid balance. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction and lands square finishing upright. Fastball sat 70-72 mph and was thrown for strikes. Breaking ball showed 2/8 shape with near fastball arm speed at 60-62 mph. Also showed a changeup with near fastball arm speed at 66-68 mph.
