Cory Wasylow, OF, Bridgewater-Raynham HS, Class of 2015

PBR: Why did you choose Merrimack?

Wasylow: I chose Merrimack because academically they offer the program I am interested in and they showed interest in me early on. I believe they have strong baseball program and I look forward to next season.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Wasylow: Maine, Brown, Salve Regina, Saint Joe's Maine

PBR: Now that you have your commitment out of the way, what are your goals for your senior year?

Wasylow: My goals for my senior year are to become an overall better baseball player, and also to help lead our team to a deep playoff run.

PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was the most memorable experience?

Wasylow: My most memorable baseball experience was being apart of the 2013 state championship team, the first baseball championship in BR history.

PBR: What person has the greatest impact on your baseball career and why?

Wasylow: My dad has the largest impact on my baseball career because he taught me how to play. When I am not playing well I know I can always go to him to ask what I am doing wrong.

PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher you've faced in the state?

Wasylow: The toughest pitcher I have faced in the state is Dan Sutherland from Dartmouth. Good movement and a sneaky quick fastball.
