Andrew Noviello, RHP/INF, Bridgewater-Raynham Regional HS, Class of 2015

PBR: Why did you choose Maine?

Noviello: I chose Maine because the coaches expressed a high level of interest towards me, I do not mind playing in the cold, and the package they had given me was something you don't want to turn down. Especially for my parents.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Noviello: I had visited/talked to South Carolina, Clemson, NC State, ECU, Maryland, Louisville and Kentucky.

PBR: Now that you have your commitment out of the way, what are your goals for your senior year?

Noviello: My goals for my senior year is to become stronger, faster, just overall become a better athlete.

PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was your most memorable experience?

Noviello: I played with Northeast Baseball for the majority of the summer. Along with the Area Code Yankees and East Coast Pro Phillies. My most memorable experience this summer by far was playing at Yankee Stadium, unreal historic ballpark.

PBR: What person has the greatest impact on your baseball career and why?

Noviello: I would definitely have to say my dad. He is constantly telling me what I have to do to improve and help me reach my full potential. I wouldn't be where I am right now if it wasn’t for him.

PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher you have faced in the state?

Noviello: I would have to go with, Teddy Rodliff from Newton North High. Side arm lefty with unbelievable stuff.

PBR: As a two-way player now, where do you see your future at the next level?

Noviello: I enjoy hitting, but there is nothing better than shutting it down on the mound. I'd have to go with hitting, it has improved tremendously over the years and I like where it's going.
