The Massachusetts Big Board: Top Uncommitted Class of 2015 Corner Infielders

By Dennis Healy
PBR MA Director of Scouting

Throughout the month we look to highlight some of the top uncommitted talent. Below we would like to showcase four of the top uncommitted class of 2016 corner infielders from the Massachusetts area.

Top Uncommitted 2016 Corner Infielders

Jack Wilhoite, 1B/RHP, Belmont Hill, 2015

Jack is a 6-foot-2, 210-pound right handed hitting first baseman who also toes the bump. He shows power in the bat and has plenty or arm strength around the bag to help him play the position. On the mound, he pitches 83-85 with a low 70s breaking pitch.

Trevor Allen, 1B, Dennis-Yarmouth Regional, 2015
Trevor is a 6-foot-2 , 205-pound left-handed hitting first baseman. Allen is very skilled around the bag, handles the footwork and glove very well. He shows a clean and short arm path with carry.  At the plate, Allen showed the ability to handle the barrel and spread the field. As he grows in strength the power part should show up.
