Most Recent Commitments: off the Trail

Ryan January, C, Salisbury High School, 2016

Commitment:
LSU
Others Considered: Vanderbilt, Arizona State, and St. Johns
Background: 6-foot-3, 185-pound left-handed hitting catcher out of the Salisbury School. He has shown the ability to catch and throw at a high level. His bat is a gap-to-gap approach right now but we feel with experience his bat could make a jump with power. He has spent his summer in Georgia playing for East Cobb so the jump to the high level in college shouldn't be as difficult for this young man.

Bobby Leyman, RHP, Governor's Academy, 2015
Commitment:
Brown
Others Considered:
Dartmouth
Background:
Bobby is a solid build athlete who will mature a bit more physically in the coming years. He throws from a 3/4-arm slot with good feel for repeating that slot as well. Bobby doesn't use his change up very much but shows very good action on it and the spin rotation is good. He throws two types of breaking pitches, a smaller, sharper slider at 77-78 and a bigger tilt pitch in the low 70's. We feel the slider will be an out pitch at the college level. He fields his position well and makes adjustments due to his athleticism.

Willy Boyd, MIF, Nauset, 2015
Commitment:
Wheaton

Tommy Larason, RHP, Norwell High School, 2015
Commitment:
Wheaton
Background:
Tommy is a 6-foot-1, 175-right-handed pitcher. Larason pitches in the mid 80s and showed us a high level slider at 78 mph.

Erik Mohl, LHP, Milton Academy, 2015
Commitment:
Trinity

Cameron Walsh, SS, Duxbury High School, 2015
Commitment: Northeastern

Alex Dhionis, RHP, Nobel and Greenough, 2015
Commitment:
LeMoyne

Nick Latham, OF/1B, St. John’s Prep, 2016
Commitment:
Boston College

Ian Fair, SS, Walpole High School, 2015
