Season Outlook
Dulaney has a strong core of experience returning from their 18-4 campaign in 2015. Leading the way on the offensive end will be 2017???s Drew Bossi and Nicky Manzoni.  Bossi hit .450 with 15 RBI and a .551 on-base percentage while Manzoni had an equally impressive .419 BA with 15 RBI and .536 OBP. Both should anchor the lineup and have had varsity starting experience since freshmen year. Adding to the deep experience on the offensive end include senior 2B Tyler Pillas and senior OF Blake Davis who have started since their sophomore year. Keep an eye out for St. Paul???s transfer Conor Brown, who should provide some pop to the batting order as well.

On the mound the Lions will look at Garrett Day to anchor the staff after losing Harris Lipinski and his 1.21 ERA and 57 strikeouts to graduation. Day went 6-1 last year with a 2.42 ERA and should be plenty capable to shoulder the role as staff ace. After Day, the Lions will need to identify a few more arms to give depth to the pitching staff throughout the season. Look for the aforementioned Blake Davis to also provide some innings on the mound.

Overall Dulaney will have a deep team on the offensive end but will need to find a few more arms to add depth to their rotation. They will have to replace the loss of three key players in Lipinski, SS Jake Sousa, and C Andrew Sugarman. They are excited about their depth on the offensive end and as they form a pitching rotation after Day, Dulaney could contend again in Baltimore County.
