Season Outlook
Glenelg Country is looking to build off their 10-win campaign in 2015 with six starters returning to their lineup.  2017 OF Will Bartlett will head up the Dragon offense coming off a .282 BA with four doubles and 17 RBI campaign last season.  A strong core of seniors also return to the lineup and should build off their 2015 season and also add leadership to a young team. Three that should lead the way include INF James Seiferth (.246 BA, .310 OBP), C/OF Tim Davis (.224 BA, 7 RBI), and 2B Tim Oh (.385 OBP, 7 RBI, 14 R).  They will need to replace the loss of SS Dylan Farnella, C Matt Sheehan, and INF Colby Manekin. Keep an eye out for River Hill transfer junior Jack Adamson in the field.

The Dragons will need to replace Farnella on the mound after his 0.75 ERA poster last season. Brendan Grady looks to step into the lead role this 2016 after poster a 3-2 record with a 3.43 ERA and 21 strikeouts on the mound last season. Tim Oh also should add some depth to the bullpen with a 1.45 WHIP and a save. After those two, the pitching staff will be relatively inexperienced and the Dragons need to identify some of the younger talent to address those needs. Keep an eye on the Dragons as they could be a contender in the MIAA B if their young talent can develop quickly.
