Season Outlook
Saint James has a great blend of talented youth and older player on the roster heading into the 2016 season.  Offensively, the Saints will be led by Charleston-Southern signee OF Ryan Brown, who is also the No. 8 ranked player in the PBR Maryland rankings. Brown hit .462 for the Saints last season with 42 hits and 31 RBI. The Preseason 1st-Team All-State performer is one of the more dynamic players in the state patrolling the outfield. Other key offensive performers for the Saints include P/1B Mitch Wilson (.381 BA, 26 RBI), Myles Nicholson (.375 BA, 11 SB), Isaac Schlotterbeck and Colton Repp. INF Ethan Spicher should also contribute for the Saints. Newcomers to keep an eye on include INF Jared Carr, 2019 INF/P Spencer McNamee.

Saint James has a large amount of young talent to keep an eye on this upcoming season. Those players include 2018???s OF Tre Davis, Joseph George, and Colin Williams. 2019???s include INF Zach Crampton, OF Brady Drawbaugh, UT TJ Quelet, and C Mark Spicher.

The Saints pitching staff will be led by Wilson and his 60 strikeouts in 42.1 innings pitched on the mound. Wilson was a preseason 2nd Team All-State selection and ranked No. 17 in the Maryland rankings. Look for Isaac Schlotterbeck to also build upon his four wins on the mound for Saint James last 2015 and step up for the loss of P Tyler George who tied Schlotterbeck for the lead in wins. The Saints will need to identify some younger talent to add depth to their pitching staff. Keep an eye on 2019 Chris Chaney who is an interesting young arm that could be the one to add that needed pitching depth. Keep an eye on the Saints this 2016 season as they should once again compete for a MAC and IPSL championship.
