Season Outlook
Heading into the 2016 season the Gaels look to improve on last year’s 7-12 record. Coach Eversole has 22 returners from 2015. With experience on the Gaels side, they are hoping to rebound from last season and make some noise in the IPSL and Old Line League.

The key to success will be their pitching depth. Senior Luca Tesselli a native Italian entering his senior year along with junior Ryan Downes will play a big role in the success of the Gaels 2016 season. Look for new comers Luke O'Dell (RHP) and southpaw Brock Smith will add that extra depth to the pitching staff. O’Dell and Smith will look to eat up innings and provide the Gaels with a new spark.

Coach Eversole is looking for his sophomore class to grow fast into playing a tough varsity schedule as they will be main contributors this year. The sophomore class will be led by Bryant Shives, Brock Penn and Seamus Murray. Look for big hitter Downes to help pace the offense along with junior Jiar White and Tesselli while they will all provide leadership and help the sophomores through any growing pains early on. Look for the Gaels team chemistry and experience to help propel them into the discussion in the IPSL and Old Line.
