Grant Astle SS John Carroll 2018
Good size at 5'10, 185lbs. Quickened his 60-yard dash time to 7.35 seconds. At the plate, he has an open and narrow setup with hands at shoulder level. Utilizes a quick leg kick and bat tip to general rhythm and timing. Hands remain in strong position throughout load and release quickly through the zone on a level path. Has some bat speed and extension through contact. Lands with lead foot slightly open and finishes tall. Exit velocity of 86. In the infield, he has smooth actions. His feet are active and hands work efficiently throughout the catch and transfer. Uses a glove tap while aligning feet to target. Throws from an upright position and high ¾ arm slot.

Carl (Will) Behm 1B Dulaney 2019
Athletic frame at 5-9, 175lbs. Ran a 7.93 second 60-yard dash. Hits from a square set up with weight preset on his back side. Hands begin in a unique position and get to a strong point at about shoulder level. Stays in his lower half throughout subtle leg kick. Exit velocity of 74. At first base, his hands work out in front of his body. He can be more active with his feet to increase velocity and accuracy on throws to bases.

Noah Beyers SS Bel Air 2019
Beyers stands at 5-7, 162lbs. He ran a 7.29 second 60-yard dash. At the plate, he has a slightly open set up and gets to a square hitting position after a subtle leg lift. He rocks into his backside and stays short to the ball with his hands. Gets extension after making deep contact and stays in his legs throughout the finish. Exit velocity of 85. At shortstop, he sets the ball up well with his feet. His actions are clean through the catch as he funnels the ball to his chest but can add more rhythm in lower half to make throws easier. Following his throw better will allow his short arm action to generate more carry on the ball.

Eric Brettschneider SS CM Wright 2019
Brettschneider stands at an athletic 5-7, 145lbs. He ran a 7.47 second 60-yard dash. At the plate, he has a simple, athletic and square setup. He has a quick leg kick and gains ground with his stride. His hands are short to the ball and stay level through the zone. Will add more bat speed if he can stay in his backside longer. Exit velocity of 70 mph. In the infield, he presents his glove early and gets the ball out quickly. A bit choppy throughout the catch and transfer. Being more active with his feet will allow him to have rhythm and get generate momentum to the target.

Sean Conway 3B Bel Air 2020
Conway stands at 5-11, 155lbs. He ran a 8.41 second 60-yard dash. With the bat, he has a wide setup with weight preset into his backside. Hands load down throughout quick leg kick and are direct to the ball with a flat path. He remains balanced throughout swing and generated 69 mph exit velocity off the tee. At third base, his actions are average as he presents glove early and makes exchange away from body. Able to get the ball out quick and range will improve as footwork gets faster. Throws from a straight-over-the-top slot and can generate more carry if he follows ball after release.

Grant Duemmel SS Calvert Hall 2019
Duemmel is an athletic 5-10, 150lb shortstop. He can a 7.27 second 60-yard dash. At the plate, he has balanced and slightly open setup in his lower half. Hands load up and back quickly as he raises front foot. After foot strike his barrel stays in the zone long on a slightly uphill path. Exit velocity of 72 mph and will generate more bat speed as he gets stronger. At shortstop, his feet are active and glove works well through the ball. Clean and efficient actions and able to range every direction. Arm action is short and over-the-top.

Bobby Duffy SS North Harford 2020
Duffy has an athletic and solid frame at 5-11, 190lbs. He ran a 7.52 second 60-yard dash. The shortstop and RHP hits from the left side of the plate. He sets up open and gets to strong, square position after a simple load. Has rhythm throughout load and stays into lower half well. Hips explode on the ball and allow his slotted hands to fly through the zone on a short, inside path. Gets extension and makes load contact when he stays through the ball. Exit velocity of 87 mph. In the infield, his hands work and feet allow him to get throws off quickly. Has some fluidity in his actions and does a good job of securing the ball.

John Galant 3B John Carroll 2019
Galant has a 6-0, 165lb frame with room to fill out. At the plate, he has an open and upright set up. His hands launch from the starting position in as his load is extremely quick. Very short and flat path to the ball. Finishes balanced and in a stacked position. Exit velocity of 78 mph. At third base, he sets the ball up well with his feet. Footwork is sound and allows his hands to work and make clean exchanges. Short, effective arm action and able to get the ball to his target quickly.

Andrew Rickard SS Archbishop Curley 2020
Rickard ran a 7.24 second 60-yard dash on a thick track. The right-handed hitting shortstop features a narrow set up with weight preset into his backside. He utilizes a small leg kick to generate rhythm in his swing. His hands are short to the ball while his barrel creates depth and bat speed prior to contact. He is able to make deep contact with the help of a working lower half. He creates extension and recorded an exit velocity of 86mph. At shortstop, he is gritty defender who will do whatever he can to keep the ball in front of him. His actions are average but his footwork allows him to get to a lot of balls. He showed ability to make quick transfers and deliver the ball to the target accurately. Positional velocity of 75mph.

Chris Roberts 2B John Carroll 2019
Roberts ran a 6.94 second 60-yard dash on a thick track. The outfielder features a square, wide setup with a quick load. His hands remain in the same position throughout the load until they make their way through the zone on a level path. He generates some extension, but the width of his stance reduces ability to rotate hips fully. He can add power with more lower half involvement. In the outfield, he takes efficient routes with the help of a quick first step. He has a short action and throws have slight fade. Position velocity of 66mph.

Nico Santoro 2B John Carroll 2019
Santoro ran a 7.53 second 60-yard dash on a thick track. The middle infielder features an athletic and slightly open set up. He has some rhythm and remains well balanced throughout swing. He utilizes a short leg lift which gives him ability to get the bat to contact quickly. His barrel works long through the zone and gets on plane with the pitch. He gets some extension and can add power with more lower half involvement. Exit velocity of 77mph. In the infield, he has sound actions with quick feet and above average hands. He can go pick it and showed ability to make quick, clean transfers while getting accurate throws off in hurry. Following his throw should improve his 75mph position velocity.

Spencer Sanza SS Bel Air 2018
Sanza ran a 7.35 second 60-yard dash on a thick track. The middle-infielder features a balanced and athletic setup at the plate. He utilizes a double tap stride to build rhythm with his upper half. His hands are short to the ball and work from an inside path. His barrel gets on plane early and fly through the zone on an uphill path. He can add power with more lower half involvement. Exit velocity of 74mph. At shortstop, he showed active feet and average actions. He made clean transfers and displayed ability to get throws off quickly. Position velocity of 76mph.

Braden Soos SS Patterson Mill 2019
Soos ran a 7.88 second 60-yard dash. At the plate, he features a narrow and open setup. His hands are set high and remain in a strong position throughout his leg kick. His hands work inside the ball and on a level path through the zone. He uses his legs well to help him make deep contact. Exit velocity of 69mph. At shortstop, he showed efficient and sound footwork with clean actions. His glove works and does a good job of securing the catch. He made quality transfers and displayed ability to get throws off quickly. Position velocity of 70mph.
