Gaithersburg 5, Clarksburg 1
Anthony Felitti threw 3.2 innings of one hit ball and Nick Pantos and Brad Sawyer each had two hits in the Trojans 5-1 victory over Clarksburg HS on Monday afternoon. Gaithersburg scored three runs in the third inning and then Corey Scholl gave the Trojans two insurance runs in the fifth with a two RBI single. 
Felitti was solid in his start for the Trojans.  The 2016 lefty pounded the strike zone was very efficient working with a limited pitch count going into the fourth inning on 60 pitches.  Pantos closed out the game in the seventh on three strikeouts against three hitters.

Bishop McNamara goes 1-1
The Mustangs had two games on Monday, losing to Faquier 5-1 and beating Mount Vernon 6-4. Against Faquier, McNamara struggled to get the big hit with runners in scoring position.  Against Mount Vernon the Mustangs were able to put together a three run sixth inning after being behind 4-3. Ian Clements and Chase Ragsdale had nice days for the Mustangs going 3-for-5 each on the day.

Chesapeake 5, North County 1
Chesapeake breaks a 1-1 tie in extra innings by scoring four in the eighth to pull away to victory.  Kyle Davis threw seven inning for the cougars giving up one run and four hits with five strikeouts.  He also helped himself out with a hit and an RBI. Brett Marsh had two RBI to lead Chesapeake

DeMatha 1, TC Roberson (NC) 0
Jack Alkire goes seven shutout innings with 13 strikouts leading DeMatha to victory in extra innings over North Carolina powerhouse TC Roberson.  Alkire scatters three hits and two walks.  Andy Rozylowicz pitches two shutout innings to get the win.  Andrew Keith went 3-for-4 to lead DeMatha.  Thomas Barringer had the game winning RBI driving in Keith in the ninth inning.

St. Mary’s 7, Pallotti 0
Ryan Davis throws a no-hitter striking out 16 to lead the Saints to victory.  Ben Rankin goes 3-for-3 with two RBI and Max Hammond adds two hits to lead St. Mary’s offensive charge.

AJ Korczyski knocks in two and Jordan Menfee pitches 5.2 innings giving up one hit and striking out eight.

Calvert Hall 9, Mount St. Joseph 7
Calvery Hall scores seven runs in the sixth to come from behind. Nick Delp is a single short of the cycle with a walk in four plate appearances and four RBI. Ian Elliot adds three hits and Nate Bosse adds two RBI.

Chopticon 6, South River 0
Ljay Newsome pitches a two hit shutout, striking out nine.

Glenelg 12, Long Reach 0
Five run first inning is all Gladiator need, scoring 12 runs on six hits.

La Plata 11, Thomas Stone 1
Tyler Stockwell goes 2-for-4 with four RBI.  Austin Mitchell goes six strong giving up one run and striking out nine.

Middletown 4, Walkersville 3
Kevin Gibson throws six shutout innings in relief and give up two hits.  Jacob Paulishak homers.

Parkside 12, Wicomico 1
La'Bron Hilliard goes 2-for-3 with two RBI and Dalton Swanger and Grant Skilling combine for a one-hit shutout.

Poolesville 4, Montgomery Blair 3
Brady Pearre throws complete game giving up two earned and striking out 10.

Smithsburg 12, Clear Spring 7
Justin Smith goes 2-for-4 with four RBI to lead Smithsburg.
