Day 1 of the Mid Summer classic got off to a great start with seven games played between Frederick Community college and Saint James school. Lets take a look at the action from the first day.

York Young Revolution 5, Blue Chips 2018 1
The Revolution score five in the fifth inning to prevail to the victory. Tyler Stabley, Jake Deibert, Nick Miller, Nick Starr, Evan Paules and Zach Gettys all had hits for the York. Robert McHugh, Cam Kalandros, Cory Poulsen and Luke Zagurski all had hits for Blue Chips

Boonsboro Bombers 12, Maryland Legends Red 2
Boonsboro score 11 runs in the third inning to take the lead and end with the victory. Lane Gay led Boonsboro with two hits. Garrett Embly gave up two hits over four innings for the victory.

Blue Chips 2019 2, NoVa Show 17u 1
Hunter Wright has a walk-off single to break a one-one tie to give Blue Chips the victory. Colton Knoble went six innings of shutout ball for Blue Chips in the victory. Lilek, Spille, Snider, and Smith led NoVa Show with a hit each.

Blue Chips 2017 7, Maryland Legends Black 1
Blake Godwin goes 3-for-3 to lead Blue Chips 2017 to the victory. Jack Glock added two hits for Blue Chips. Sean Eppig got the complete game win scattering seven hits while giving up one run.

2019 Colton Knoble got up to 83 mph on the mound pitching 78-82 for the majority of his six innings on the mound…Blake Godwin was aggressive at the plate today attacking fastballs in the zone en route to his three hit performance…2018 Josh Bobbitt for York Young Revolution got up to 83 on the mound, mainly pitching 77-82 while using both his breaking balls effectively keeping hitters off balance most of the day…Lane Gay showed good rhythm at the plate with a short swing and keeping the barrel in the zone…2018 RHP Tyson Johnson of Bigbies BlackSox sat 81-83 on the mound in their victory...2017 Brandyn Schuchart sat 78-83 for York Young Revolution in their game two victory.

RECENT HEADLINES
