The northeast prospect ID was hosted by the Ripken Experience Aberdeen at Yankee stadium on Wednesday, June 1. Many players from across the state and area were in attendance to showcase their ability in front of the PBR Maryland scouting staff.

Matt MigliozziMatt Migliozzi (pictured, right) was one of the many that showcased well during the event. The lanky outfielder had one of the best overall workouts with his 84 mph outfield velocity, 7.00-60-yard dash, a quick bat during batting practice, and his event-best 92 mph exit velocity.

Maryland's class of catchers for 2017 and 2018 appears to be a very deep pool of talent in the area and that trend continued with strong performances from Archbishop Curley's 2018 Trent Gast-Woodard and Loyola-Blakefield's Jack Glock. Gast-Woodard has added stregth to his frame since his Top Prospect Games performance in 2015 to the tune of a 90 mph exit velo along with an event best pop time that got under 1.9. Glock was right behind with a sub 1.9 pop to go along with his gap-to-gap potential at the plate and a 7.25 60-yard dash.  2017 Kyle Kuba also showed off a pop time that was sub 2.0.

Archbishop Spalding showed some of their future on the mound in right handed pitcher Jordan Geber who had an event best fastball velo of 85 mph. The 2017 graduate also had an event best infield velocity of 85 mph. 2018 Seth Bialecki of St. Mark's (DE) came on the scene with his athletic and lanky frame to go along with his 6.99 60-yard dash and the best outfield arm at 86 mph.

The 2018 class showed greater depth after this Northeast Prospect ID. Will Glock (Loyola-Blakefield), Dylan Hunter (St. John's, DC), Nick Brown (Archbishop Curley) and Luke Hess (Mount St. Joseph) were just a few of the 2018's that impressed. 2019 Tyler Locklear (Archbishop Curley) had a nice workout and looks to be a player to keep an eye on in the future.
