From now until the start of the 2015 season, Prep Baseball Report Michigan will bring you in-depth team previews throughout the entire state. If your coach has not filled out the survey please have him do so through this link.

2015 Team Preview: Hamilton

Top Prospects in Class of 2015:

  • Grant Wolfram, P/1B, Senior, 6'6", 210 lbs, Bats - L, Throws - L. Grant is probably one of the top prospects in the area. He has signed with CMU and is being looked at by several Major League Scouts. At a recent PBR event in Chicago he was throwing 89 mph while sitting consistently at 87-88 mph. He has a plus slider and a good changeup. He also batted .315 last season with 30 RBI's for us.
  • Gerrit Eding, C, Senior, 6'0, 190 lbs, Bats - R, Throws - R. Gerrit is a very athletic catcher. He runs a 6.8 60 and has a sub 2.0 pop time. Gerrit batted .381 with 34 RBI's, 11 2b's, 2 3b's, and 2 HR's last year.
  • Ben Davage, P, Senior, 6'2", 190 lbs, Bats - R, Throws - R. Ben will be attending Trine University next year. He had a solid year pitching last season and hit .309 in part-time action.
  • Landon Dykstra, P/3B/1B, Senior, 6'1", 210 lbs, Bats - R, Throws - R. Landon was 3-3 on the mound with a 1.37 ERA last season. He pitched a no-hitter and had an impressive late season 3-2 complete game victory over West Ottawa. He saw time at 1B last season and will split between 3B, and 1B this season.
  • Brady Mudd, P/2B, Senior, 5'8", 150 lbs. Bats - R, Throws - R. Brady was an impressive 6-0 last season with a 1.65 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP.

Top Prospects in Class of 2016:

  • Alec Overbeek, P/SS/CF, Junior, 6'1", 185 lbs, Bats - R, Throws - R. Alec had a strong Sophomore season hitting .384 and scoring 39 runs while belting 12 2b's, 1 3b, and 2 HR's. He was also 5-2 on the mound.
