WALLED LAKE NORTHERN 8, GRAND BLANC 3— The Williams brothers, Brennan and Corey, each chipped in a pair of hits for the victorious visiting Knights.

STONEY CREEK  5, BIRMINGHAM SEAHOLM 2— Kyle Schweiger (GRCC recruit) and Jake Hazelton each had a pair of hits and a RBI for the Cougars in the win while Hunter Green had four hits for the Maples in the loss.

SOUTHFIELD 16, HAZEL PARK 1— Cory Oliver and Eric Singleton each had three hits for Southfield in the win.

ORTONVILLE BRANDON 7, WEST BLOOMFIELD 5— Jack Hranec went 2-2 and Max Wardell was the winning pitcher for Ortonville Brandon.

NOVI 11, WESTLAND JOHN  GLENN 1— Ryan Caputo scored three runs and Keaton Figurski had a pair of hits for the Wildcats.

WALLED LAKE CENTRAL 7, MILFORD 5— Jeturi Brown and Brendan O'Malley each had a pair of hits for the victorious Vikings. Kyle Balden chipped in a home run for Milford. Jack Wahrman pitched four innings for Central.

BIRMINGHAM GROVES 4, FARMINGTON HILLS HARRISON 3— Groves won on a walkoff single in the tenth inning that was a continuation from May 1. Casey Vordermark had five punchouts in ten innings. Pat Williams hit a solo home run for Harrison.

BRIGHTON 4, WATERFORD KETTERING 1— Brett Reynolds was the winning pitcher for Brighton. Reynolds threw six innings. Noah Stinson had a RBI double for Kettering.

OXFORD 8-8, CLARKSTON 10-7— Colin McGeen had two hits in the first game and P.J. Piesko had three for Oxford. Josh Arndt had three hits in the second game for Oxford.

HOLLY 1-8, FENTON 0-7— Chris Green was the winning pitcher in the second game and had a pair of hits.

ROYAL OAK SHRINE 2-7, WATERFORD OUR LADY of the LAKES 6-2

PONTIAC 6, SOUTHFIELD LATHRUP 5– Dazon Cole, a Central Michigan recruit, battled soreness to strike out eleven Chargers for Pontiac in seven innings while chipping in two hits and. Johnny Slater, a Michigan recruit, had two hits for Lathrup.

STEVENSON 5, GROSSE POINTE SOUTH 1- Zach McGuire struck out five for victorious Stevenson. Greg McDade hit a two-run double and Zak Melcher's RBI single broke a sixth inning tie.

L’ANSE CREUSE NORTH 5, CHIPPEWA VALLEY 2: LCN's Nick Ivone, a SVSU recruit, had two doubles and stole two bases. Shane Healy had eight strikeouts for the victorious Crusaders.

ST. CLAIR 13, FORD 4- Hayden Robbins threw a complete game for St. Clair, earning his fourth win of the season. Nate Longuski chipped in a single and a double for the Saints.

ROMEO 5, WARREN-MOTT 0- Madonna University recruit Alec Padilla hit a solo home run for Romeo. Ryan Price had two hits and Joe Gardner had one. Greg Antoine threw a complete game, allowing three hitters with five Ks.

ANCHOR BAY 6, MARYSVILLE 5: Gary Landless threw 6 1/3 innings, allowed six hits, and struck out three. After leaving the mound, he prevented the game-tying run from scoring by throwing a laser to the catcher. He also had two hits and two RBIs in the game. Freshman Zac Capaldi got the save for Anchor Bay. Craig Black also had a pair of hits for the victorious Tars.

PORT HURON  2, UTICA 0- Taylor Curtis threw a complete game in the loss for Utica.

WARREN COUSINO 9, MADISON HEIGHTS LAMPHERE 2- Rob Cleary allowed two hits and struck out eight in five innings for the victorious Patriots. He also chipped in a pair of hits that included a two-run home run and had three RBIs. Ben Barone also had a pair of hits for Cousino. P.J. Zocharski also had a pair of hits. West Texas recruit Ryan Roman hit a two-run home run for Lamphere.

MACOMB DAKOTA 11, UTICA EISENHOWER 2– Alex Lewandowski struck out ten in six innings while only allowing three hits and one run for Dakota. Catcher Chad Roskelly contributed two singles for the victorious Cougars.

ADRIAN 8-4, MONROE 5-16- Owens C.C. Recruit Michael Hamden had two doubles and three RBIs in the first game for the victorious Maples. Hamden also had two hits in the second game for Adrian.

SALINE 6-3, DEXTER 0-4- In the first game, Michael Hendrickson struck out thirteen Dreadnaughts in six innings while only allowing two his and one walk for Saline. Andrew White had three hits in the opener. Brennan Maisch took the loss for Dexter. In the second game which went eight innings, Trent Theisen had three hits for Saline. Cole Rize got the win for Dexter.

SKYLINE 7-12, LINCOLN 4-0- Maverick Bristol had three hits including a home run in the opener for the Railsplitters. Tyler Webb took the loss in the second game for Lincoln.

ANN ARBOR PIONEER 6-4, CHELSEA 5-7

TEMPERANCE BEDFORD 4-7, TECUMSEH 3-4- Jackson Lamb got the win in the first game for the Kicking Mules as Siena Heights recruit Kyle Kuhr had three hits. Phil Carey had eleven strikeouts in the loss. Carey and Nick Cowen both had two hits in the second game.
