More Class of 2012 Players Commit and an Unsigned Senior

Tis the season to commit. Some schools are snapping up talent left the 2012 recruiting class.

Class of 2012:

Lane Compton, LHP, Freeland HS, Class of 2012 committed to Johnson and Wales University.

Sean Fox, C, Garden City HS, Class of 2012 committed to Albion College.

Ben Gehan, 1B/OF, Livonia Clarenceville HS, Class of 2012 committed to Albion College.


Top Unsigned Senior Update:

Tyler Frank OF/MIF, Adrian HS, Class of 2012, was going to walk on to play football at Central Michigan University but has since reconsidered citing injury issues.  As a result he is one of the best athletes that is still available.  Franks is a good runner with a solid arm.  He runs hard and plays the game aggressively and has the ability to play both in the infield and outfield.  From the right side he ran a 4.36 to first on a triple to the right center gap.
