PBR Michigan Assistant Scouting Director

PBR Michigan started up on April 10th, 2012 as seen here. Brent Alwine then took the reigns in Michigan to start 2014, later handing off the reigns to Jake Sabol with assistance from Aaron Wilson.

Now that Michigan is fully entrenched as a top PBR state, we look to continue our climb while continuing to provide top notch baseball coverage in Michigan.

Aaron, PBR Michigan Assistant Director of Scouting, along with Dylan Hefflinger, Michigan Editor in Chief/Regional Scout take a look back at the year in review and put together a list of the top stories for the year 2015.

Today we take a look at the The Jones brothers.

Each day we will reveal the next story on the list. A hint for the next story is the word "Vandy".

Top Stories of 2015 Rundown:

+ Sam Weatherly's Trail to Top Prospect
+ Steve Mann is the Man

PBR Michigan's Top Stories for the Year 2015: Jones Brothers Bond Unbroken

Battle Creek Lakeview is one of the state's top teams and a big reason for that success are the Jones brothers.

Nick Jones is ranked #45 in the class of 2016 while his younger brother Nate Jones is ranked #8 in the class of 2017.

Nick is a hard hitting 3B/C with plus baseball instincts while his brother Nate is an athletic RHP/OF that can impact a game on the hill and with the bat.

Nick was an All-State Dream Team selection earning All-City, All-District and All-Region honors hitting .490 with 35 RBIs, while Nate became one of the state's top 2017 prospects last spring, earning All-District, All-Conference as well as All-City honors hitting .426 with 32 RBIs and 42 runs scored.

This past summer both brothers decided to play at least three more years of baseball together, committing to Eastern Michigan University. To view Nick's thoughts on EMU, click here. To view Nate's thoughts on EMU, click here.
