PBR Michigan started up on April 10th, 2012 as seen here. Brent Alwine then took the reigns in Michigan to start 2014, later handing off the reigns to Jake Sabol with assistance from Aaron Wilson.

Now that Michigan is fully entrenched as a top PBR state, we look to continue our climb while continuing to provide top notch baseball coverage in Michigan.

Aaron, PBR Michigan Assistant Director of Scouting, along with Dylan Hefflinger, Michigan Editor in Chief/Regional Scout take a look back at the year in review and put together a list of the top stories for the year 2015.

Today we take a look at the Steve Mann.

Each day we will reveal the next story on the list. A hint for the next story is the word "Criswell".

PBR Michigan's Top Stories for the Year 2015: Steve Mann is the Man

Steve MannSteve Mann's burst onto the scene in the winter of 2014 was memorable. Mann was a young, athletic, and physically gifted freshman outfielder from Detroit Country Day. Mann showed the ability, at a young ago, to potentially become a 5-tool outfielder and with those skills became the #1 ranked played in the initial Michigan class of 2017 rankings, while also being a PBR Preseason 1st Team All-State performer.

Mann later earned an invitation to be one of just two freshmen to make Team Michigan in the 2014 Future Games.

While at the Future Games Mann displayed a phenomenal exit velocity of 98 mph while stealing five bases during the tournament.

At the conclusion of the Future Games Steve earned several Division offers from ACC, Big Ten, SEC and Big East schools.

During his sophomore campaign, Mann smacked a tape measure home run over the left field fence at Comerica Park, the home of the Detroit Tigers.

Steve had a strong sophomore season as he was a PBR postseason All-State 1st team performer before committing to Duke in July 2015.

Steve has already had a nice junior campaign, recently being named Division 3-4 All-State Honorable Mention quarterback, after leading Country Day to the State Semifinals.
