With one senior on team; Sleepy Eye has and will rely on underclassmen to step up and be competitive.

NEWCOMER TO WATCH
2018 Avery Stevens will have a chance to contribute as a freshman for the Indians. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound RHP/IF has arm strength and has shown the ability to command the strike zone.

2015 OUTLOOK
Sleepy Eye, though young, has a significant amount of experience returning from last season. The Indian's, who lost only 2 starting position players to graduation, also return a majority of innings pitched from their 2014 squad. Matt Berkner, a physical 6-foot, 200-pound outfielder will lead the team as the sole senior on the squad. Head Coach Aaron Nesvold will count heavily on the continued effort's of his younger players to give the Indians a chance to improve on last season. They should be a competitive group with potential.
