Game Highlights and Scores from April 8, 2015

Minnetonka 12 Coon Rapids 2
The Skippers beat Coon Rapids on Wednesday in 5 innings. Picking up the win on the mound for Minnetonka was 2017 Jimmy Ramsey. The offensive stand-out of the game was junior Fox Leum. Leum went 2 for 3 with a double and 3 RBI's in the contest to pace Minnetonka.

Champlin Park 4 Elk River 3
Champlin Park scored a single run in the bottom of the 7th to beat Elk River on Wednesday 4-3. Riley Johnson went 3 for 4 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored. Noah Bouley chipped in 2 hits, scored a run, and had 1 RBI. Brian McGill started on the mound for the Rebels and took the no-decision after throwing 4 1/3 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits. Picking up the win in relief was Alex Duane who went 2 innings and allowed 0 hits with 2 strikeouts. Elk River's Ben Johnson took the loss throwing 6 1/3 innings; scattering 8 hits and allowing 4 runs- 3 earned.

Roseville 6 Woodbury 3
Despite out-hitting Roseville on Wednesday; Woodbury took the loss on Wednesday. Senior Jesper Horsted led Roseville with 2 hits and 2 runs scored. Off to a hot start this Spring; junior Brady Mundahl went 4 for 4 for Woodbury. Broxterman and Jacobson scattered 7 hits on the mound for Roseville and held Woodbury to 3 runs. 

Lakeville North 4 Prior Lake 1
In a pitchers dual; Lakeville North defeated Prior Lake 4-1. Wesley Ahlers and Brett Herber combined to limit Prior Lake to 3 hits and 1 unearned run in the contest. Ahlers went 4 innings; allowing 3 hits, 1 unearned run and collected 6 strikeouts. Herber slammed the door with an outstanding 3 innings of relief; allowing no hits and punching out 5 Lakers. Nebraska commit, Angelo Altavilla, went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's and 2 runs scored. Taking the loss in relief was Lawson Zenner who came into the game in the 4th inning behind 2016 Nick Hanson.
