2015 Spotlight: SS Jeremy Eierman (Warsaw)

Jeremy Eierman (Warsaw, 2015) is 6-foot 195-pound SS and ranked #3 in Missouri and #35 overall.  His short list of schools include Mizzou, Missouri St, Ole Miss, Wichita St, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma St, Oregon, and Washington.  In 2013, he was named the Fist Team to the 2013 MHSBCA Class 2 All State Team and led the Wildcats to a 15-5 record. 

As a sophomore, Eierman hit I hit .458 with 23 runs scored. He had  27 hits, with 11 doubles, a triple, and  7 Homeruns,  He drove in 36 runs, and had a 1.033 slugging percentage.  He is looking to build on those numbers in 2014.  "My goals for my junior and senior years are to help my team win and  improve as a player and a team mate," Eierman said. 

Eierman also plays football for Warsaw, and not that the season is over he is in the process of planning unofficial visits. He has visited Missouri already.  Although his baseball take him just about anywhere, he is keeping academics in mind. "I'm not sure what I am going to major in yet, so academically, I'm just looking for a good school. I am not necessarily wanting to stay close to home, although there would be some benefits to that," says Eierman. 

Eierman played in the PBR Futures Game last August in Indiana and plays for the Midwest Nationals during the summer.  His skills in the field are advanced for a player of his age. Defensively, Eierman shows fundamental fielding mechanics and natural instincts to the ball. He has soft hands, quick feet and a clean exchange. Offensively, Eierman has a wide stance with good balance and a level swing. Eierman flashes speed with a 6.92 60.

His GPA is 3.3, and he just took the ACT last week.
