OUTLOOK
Springfield Catholic will have a different look in 2015.  After a 28-2 record and a Missouri Class 3 State Championship in 2014, the Fighting Irish will have no returning starters in 2015.  Although, Springfield Catholic will inexperienced, they will ready to defend the state championship.  The Fighting Irish will have three seniors; INF/RHP Michael Berger, UTL Tyler Edens, and C Will Brabson; looking to go out with another championship. Sophomore Mason Dickemann, a 6-foot 160-pound SS, will be one of the conference's best best defenders, and fellow sophomore Grant Schoen is a physical 6-foot 215-pound INF that will add power to the line-up.  Springfield Catholic will be young, but will be competitive, with players similar in skill level, yet they have different skill sets.  The Irish competes in the tough COC conference and will be tested once district playoffs start.
