Brian Howard, No. 2 ranked player in the Class of 2013, commits

6-foot-9, 195-pound RHP Brian Howard (right) from SLUH has committed to TCU. Howard, the No. 2 ranked player in the Class of 2013, burst onto the scene in 2011, posting a perfect 10-0 record and 1.54 ERA for SLUH and helping lead to a 24-1 record.

Howard impressed at the Prep Baseball Report Midwest Futures Games, with an electric fastball that topped out at 88mph. Howard has also developed a change up that has become a staple of his arsenal and could be a legitimate out pitch as he continues to progress as a pitcher.
