Daily Game Round up for May 1 from Missouri



No. 3 Westminster 15        Priory 2: Connor Larsen went three for three with a homerun and two RBIs and Tate Matheny added a homerun and a double with three RBIs to power Westminster past Priory. Connor Einerston contributed with two RBIs. Westminster collected sixteen hits in the five inning game. Brett Bond had three of those hits and Shane Benes had two. Westminster improves to 18- 

No. 4 Springfield Catholic 13        Ash Grove13: Tyler Ast picked up the win, going four innings of two hit ball and giving up one earned run. Colin Shaunessy had two hits and three RBIs.

No. 5 Clever 12        Crane 0:  Phil Valence threw a five inning no hitter as Clever stays hot with a five inning shutout of Crane.  Valence, Ranger Curtis, and Chance Wolfe each had two hits for Clever. Clever is now 19-2.

No. 6 Vianney 4        CBC 2: Aaron Bossi pitched Vianney to a 4-2 win in a Metro Catholic Conference contest. Bossi scattered three hits over five innings, allowing one earned run. Bossi also helped himself at the plate, with two RBIs. Vianney improves to 17-5 overall and 4-2 in conference, while CBC falls to 13-6, and 4-2 in conference. 

No. 11 Parkway South 7     No. 18 Eureka 4: Danny Holst led Parkway South, with three hits (two doubles), three RBIs, and two runs scored in a Suburban West Conference matchup Ryan Fisher and Anthony Duke both collected RBIs on bunt singles, while Ty Stahl threw six innings allowing three earned runs and striking out four. The two teams meet again today. Parkway South improves to 18-6 (10-3 in conference) and Eureka falls to 15-5 (8-3 in conference).

No. 17 Francis Howell 9    Hillsboro 1: Austin Southmayd went six innings of five hit ball, while striking out five and not allowing an earned run.  Calvin Munson provided the offense, going two for two with two home runs and four RBIs. Howell improves to 18-6.

No. 23 Summit Christian 10 Midland 0: Jonathan Finch went two for four with three RBIs, while David Tilleman and A.J. Boyer each went two for four to lead Summit Christian. Tilleman drove in three and scored twice and Boyer scored three times. Summit Christian is now 17-4

Grain Valley 3  Odessa 1: Grain Valley clinched at least a tie for the Missouri River West Conference championship behind a two hit, nine strikeout effort on the mound by Lucas Williams. Tim Collins had an RBI single and Austin New had two hits. Grain Valley is now 13-6 (8-0 in conference).

Ft. Zumwalt West 4 Timberland 0: Dan Gabler threw a complete game shut out striking out six and surrendering five hits in a Gateway South Conference game. Nick Mundy went one for two with two RBIs. Ft. Zumwalt West is now 17-7 (4-2) and Timberland is 12-7 (2-4) 

Parkview 11 Waynesville 1: Spencer Johnson had a perfect three for three day with a homerun, double, and two RBIs to lead Parkview. Brandon Beavers, Jordan Hicks, and Andrew Hicks each picked up two hits.

Webster Groves 13 Parkway West 3: Jake Perry led the Webster Groves offense, going two for two with three RBIs, and Evan Carlen had a two for four afternoon driving in two and scoring twice. Peter Forsee went five and two thirds allowing two earned runs to pick up the win.

Kickapoo 17 Hillcrest 2: Ryan Rippee picked up the win, and helped himself with two homeruns in the route of Hillcrest. Brodie Kern also homered for Kickapoo. 

Sencea 9        Monett 1: Kyler Nq had four RBIs ad Zach Griffith went three for three with an RBI and run scored to lead Seneca.

Malden 15     Hayti 0: Tanner Murphy went four for four with a homerun, three doubles, and five RBIs to power Malden past Hayti.

Lafayette 4    Oakville 3: Blake Hoover led Lafayette in a conference matchup over Oakville, going one for three with a triple and two RBIs. Matthew Goro picked up the win, allowing five hits. Lafayette is now 17-7 and in first place in the Suburban West Conference (11-2), Oakville fall sto 5-16

Kirkwood 3   Seckman 0: Griffin Goodrick struck out eleven in the shut out win over Seckman.  Kirkwood improves to 12-8,  Seckman falls to 10-12

Park Hills Central 6 Ste. Genevieve 5: Jake Rhoades struck out fourteen batters in the win.

Oak Grove 3  Harrisonville 2: Brett Kellog hit a walk off, RBI single scoring Cole Daugherty to knock off Harrisonville. Sean Baker had two hits and an RBI on the afternoon.

Northwest 7 Cole Camp 1: Andrew Underwood led Northwest allowing one run and striking out seven, and going one for tow at the plate with an RBI and stolen base. Cody Wicker had a three for four day, with a double and run scored and Cortien Anderson went one for two with a double and three RBIs.
