Class 5

Liberty 7, #1 Blue Springs South 2
Liberty jumped on Reece Eddins and Blue Springs South in the second  inning with an RBI single by Joe Kinder and single by Jason Volkman that plated two runs. After a solo home run by Jacob Francis in the third and an RBI single by Brock Dorothy in the fourth, Liberty built a 7-0 lead. That's all the Blue Jays needed to upset #1 Blue Springs South from the unbeaten ranks.  UCM commit, Ross Julianna got the complete-game win for the Blue Jays allowing just two runs on seven hits, striking out one with two walks.Julianna held the Jags hitless until the fifth inning when Patrick Lemberger doubled and scored.  Connor Davis was the bright spot for the Jaguars, going 2-for-3 at the plate and tossing a shut-out inning in relief.  Colton Larkins also pitched one scoreless inning for Blue Springs South with one strikeout.

Fort Zumwalt South 8, #5 Vianney 7
Fort Zumwalt South rides a five-run first and holds on to upset #5 Vianney.  Matt McCauley goes 2-for-2 and Chris Cornelius goes 2-for-4 with a run in the loss for Vianney.  Jake Hemphill is tagged with the loss.

#6 Liberty North 13, Park Hill South 2
Liberty North used a three-run sixth and a five-run seventh to outlast Park Hill South 13-2.  The Eagles scored 13 runs on 19 hits, led by Brady Kaplan with a pair of double and two RBI.  Five other Eagle hitters had a multi-hit game as Connor Simpson picks up with win working four innings, allowing just one run.  Eil Patterson went 2-for-3 with a run scored for Park Hill South. 

Branson 8, Parkview 4
Lake Kellery leads Branson with 3-for-4 day at the plate. He scored two runs and added 3 RBI.  

Raymore-Peculiar 7, Truman 0
Austyn Cochran and Josh Scribner hit home runs to lead Ray-Pec.  Jordan Van Trump added two hits and two RBI in victory.  Ben Harris gets the complete-game shutout win, allowing no runs on five hits with seven strikeouts and two walks.

Jacob Clark throws no-hitter and records 11 strikeouts in 2-1 win.

Darrian Aldridge goes 2-for-4 with two runs collects one hit in two at-bats with two walks as Kearney upends Grandview 9-6.  Morgan Shaw drove in five runs in the loss for Grandview, while Zack Davis goes 1-for-2 with a walk and three runs scored for Kearney.

Sullivan 4, Potosi 3
Jake Lochner goes 1-for-3 with a walk and run scored in Sullivan victory.

Layn Hurst goes 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored to lead #2 Forsyth past #4 Conway. 

Houston 21, Seymour 9
Houston hitters hit five home runs, led by Devin Coulter's grand-slam and six RBI performance.  Tanner Cantrell went 3-for-4 with a home runs and 5 RBI while brother Aaron Cantrell adds a homer and 4 RBI as well.

#7 Valle Catholic 11, Oran 1
Valle Catholic scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 1st and coasted for the victory. Dan Bergholdt tossed a 5-inning complete game allowing just 3 hits while racking up 13 Ks.Valle Catholic legged out 3 triples in the contest. Justin Roth, Conner Basler, Nolan Wood, and Andrew Basler had 2 hits each for the Warriors.
