Scouting Report: Ficken is a physical 6-foot-2 195-pound right-handed hitting third baseman in Missouri’s 2018 class.  Ficken ran a 4.37 home-to-first and had an exit velocity of 91 mph.  At the plate, Ficken attacked the ball, consistently squaring up the ball to the middle and pull side of the cage, showed power to pull gap, quick hands and fast bat speed, controlled in-line leg kick to start swing. He has a 91 mph exit velo and runs a 7.33 60.  Defensively, 79 mph positional velo, high three-quarters arm slot, accurate throws, feet are in sync with hands, momentum towards first and through the catch, arm works.
