Class 5

Timberland 2, #1 Francis Howell 0
The Wolves' run in the top of the first inning proves to be the game winner. Shane Strom went 6 1/3 innings for Timberland, scattering four hits and striking out five. Storme Cooper came on in the seventh inning and earned the save. The Vikings starter Braydon Cook tossed six innings, scattering seven hits for the tough loss. Ryan Grantham and Brendan Trimble both had multi-hit games for Francis Howell. Timberland's Bobby Marco went 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI. Storm Cooper was the only player to cross the plate in the game, he did it twice.

#3 Liberty North 10, Oak Park
Liberty North stayed hot at the plate scoring ten runs in five innings. Oak Park couldn’t get anything going against Brian Sharp. Sharp went all five innings allowing only two hits while striking out eight. Cale Hanson went 2-for-3 with a double and homerun. Conner Simpson and Andrew Vogelbaugh both had multi-hit games for the Eagles. Liberty North moves to 17-1 on the season.

Cape Central 5, Windsor 0
Chase Hagerty had a big day for Cape Central, throwing a complete game shut out with three hits and seven strikeouts and blasting a two-run home run to help the Indians get past Windsor 5-0.  Matt Chism added three hits, two runs scored and an RBI for Cape Central.

Platte County 9, Winnetonka 7
Marquise Doherty
went 3-for-4 with a double and a home run in a losing cause against Platte County. Tanner Ruwe collected a pair of hits, including a home run and three RBI for Platte County.  Jared Wilson earned the win pitching six innings allowing no earned runs and four hits with seven strikeouts.

Ft. Zumwalt West 13, Ft. Zumwalt North 7
Fort Zumwalt West got three hits and five RBI from Jordan White to lead the Jaguars to a 13-7 win over Fort Zumwalt North.  Danny Biggs went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and Ethan Staskewicz added a pair of hits with two RBI to help the Jaguars.

Caleb Hicks doubled, tripled and scored a run in the 2-1 win over Lutheran South. Jordan Smith went six innings for the win allowing one earned run on four hits with five strikeouts and four walks.
