As we continue our countdown of the top twenty stories of 2016, the Top Prospect Games Instant Analysis comes in number eight.

The Top Prospect Games was held on August 2 in Warrensburg, Missouri for players in the 2018 and 2017 class.  The event featured nine players with a sub-seven 60 time, three players with 84 mph or better outfield velo, five players with 80 mph or better infield velo and eight players with 90 or better exit velo.  Five pitchers were 86 or better on the mound and four catchers had a positional velo of 75 mph or better with one catcher at a sub-two pop time.

Prep Baseball Report Missour/Kansas held the Top Prospect Games at the University of Central Missouri on August 2.  Nearly 50 players participated in the 2018 and 2017 class from Missouri and Kansas.

Player profiles will be updated with velos, running times, videos, comments and profile picture in the upcoming weeks.  Although this doesn't tell the full story of the days events, here is a preliminary look at the days top performances.  We will break down each position in the weeks to come with positional reports.
