Logsdon was named First Team All-State as a Utility DH player leading the Tigers 21-1 finish in 2015 and second place finish in Class 2.

Here is a look on how Logsdon landed at Mizzou.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it as expected? Easy/Difficult?

Logsdon: I thought it would be way harder than it actually was.For me it was very easy and fun I knew that Mizzou was the place I wanted to go and it was just getting in front of them and hopefully liking me. I also had other schools that a liked and talked to just in case Mizzou did not like me.

PBR: Did location or distance from home play a factor in your decision?

Logsdon: Yes. Being closer to home would be awesome but at the same time I knew if I had to go far away that's what I had to do.

PBR: Where did Missouri first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?

Logsdon: The first time they seen me was that there exposure tournament when I pitched at Taylor stadium. Then after went to the MOKAN Open PBR if we started talking a lot and then I was invited to go to there camp.

PBR: Who is the best player you have faced in your state, and why?

Logsdon: I honestly don’t even know there are so many good baseball players now it is so to really say the best player I have ever faced was. I don’t I think I can just pick one player.

PBR: What advice would you give to young baseball players striving to get where you are?

Logsdon: Just always work as hard as possible. Every at bat every pitch. You never know who is watching if you take one pitch of a college might lose interest just because of one play.

PBR: What do you do in the offseason to keep yourself in baseball shape and prepare for the upcoming season?

Logsdon: I plan on doing Driveline Baseball. I also plan to keep working with Excel Training. I also play basketball so that keeps me in shape also.

PBR: What is the most memorable moment in your baseball career to this point?

Logsdon: By far this year's high school season taking second in state and 21-1. It was just a awesome experince.

PBR: What do you like most about Missouri and what were the key factors in making your decision?

Logsdon: The thing that made me chose Mizzou over anyone was by far their coaching staff. There are just awesome guys and at the end of your baseball careers they will also make you better people. I also love the town of Columbia.

PBR: What other schools were on your short list before you made your final decision?

Logsdon: The other two that I was interested in was Arkansas and Missouri State. I just knew Mizzou was the right fit for me.

PBR: When did the recruiting process really start to heat up for you? Was there a particular game or event that you feel turned the corner for you?

Logsdon: After I went to your PBR showcase the phone just started ringing like crazy after that. A lot of coaches started calling after that event.

PBR: Preview your high school season for us. How do you feel your team will be? What are your expectations and goals?

Logsdon: I team should be really solid returning 8 of the 9 starters from last year that lead us to second place in state. Our expectations and goals this team to win the state championship no doubt that's what everyone on our team is striving for.

PBR: Where do you play in the summer? And what has been your most memorable experience with them?

Logsdon: I play for Team Combat and the most memorable experience was when we went to indianapolis this summer.
