Stock Report: Class of 2014 OF Eric Huenke (Francis Howell)

Huenke has shown progression throughout his participation in PBR showcase events, with his latest performance at the Fall Prospect ID showcase at St. Charles Community College his best so far.

In the outfield, the 6-foot, 175-pound Huenke showed good instincts to the ball, taking aggressive routes and showing fundamental mechanics. All of his throws were on a line to his target, with a top throw of 78-mph.

At the plate, Huenke shows a repeatable left-handed swing, with good rhythm, loose hands and good bat control. He takes a short path to the ball with extension through contact driving the ball gap-to-gap. Additionally he ran a 7.37 60 and had an exit velo of 81-mph.

Huenke should be a big contributor on another loaded Francis Howell Viking team in 2013.
