Vierling was a standout for Team Missouri at the Midwest Future Games in 2013, showing a strong arm from the outfield to go with an 85-87 mph fastball before earning MVP honors at the Labor Day Challenge. He touched 90 in the spring, showing his upside on the mound, but injury caused him to miss the summer. He has a loose arm and can get late sink on his fastball. At the plate, he has an easy swing and the ball can jump off his bat.
