As Howell’s backstop, Perkins will team up with OF Elijah Dilday (Howell HS, MO) to make for a strong offense this spring. He hit a home run at the 2012 Midwest Future Games, showing easy power with his quick, compact swing and strong lower half. His low hands in his setup give him an uphill path to the ball. Howell is coming off a Class 5 state championship and in good position to content again with Perkins and Dilday returning to the lineup.
